Primary school extension providing two new classrooms above existing school hall.

Prospect House Lower School is based in a large detached house on Putney Hill in the Putney Heath Conservation Area. 

​

The design explored various options for adding to the existing massing without compromising the visual dominance of the original building, creating a harmonious overall composition. In collaboration with the local authority heritage team, design team consensus was built and a preferred approach was agreed. The new classrooms are positioned above the existing hall with the fenestration aligning with the existing openings below.
