Broomfield House School occupies a mix of buildings and this project aims to bring unity and cohesion to the school estate by adding canopies to link up the various buildings. This offers the functional advantage in providing a sheltered route throughout, and offers the aesthetic benefit by linking the buildings visually.

Using the historical precedent of traditional cloisters, the canopies provide intimate semi-private zone away from the main outdoor play space creating blended outdoor / indoor spaces.
